Reviews for Student Writing Coach

We found Hillary tremendously helpful when she read our daughter’s college essays and suggested improvements. Her comments were straightforward, encouraging, but also constructive. We’re not the only parents who find that providing advice to our college-bound kid can be something of a minefield, but Hillary was able to get our daughter to listen and to improve. She understood our daughter’s strengths and helped her showcase them more clearly. We’re very pleased we went to her.

Working with Hillary was great. As a parent, I really appreciated that I could trust she would help my son get his essays done on time. But even more important was my son’s response to the process. He found Hillary positive and supportive in helping him organize his thoughts and bring color to his story, giving him the confidence he needed to begin writing. Her constructive suggestions and enthusiasm for his topic brought out our son’s voice and helped him write an essay that impressed his guidance counselor. We are beyond thrilled that she was recommended to us. Best writing coach ever!

Hillary, I want to thank you for helping E. with her college application essay. Your skill and talent are truly exceptional. You enabled E. to produce an essay with more meaning and depth than she was able to do. You provided opinions and advice in a way that did not lose her authentic voice. She could not have done this without you.

Thank you again for all your time and effort in making E’s voice be heard.
